The Reevaluate Comms Rules feature provides a powerful way to reassess Communication Rules against existing Delegate data to determine whether communications should be sent or resent.
This functionality ensures that both newly created Communication Rules and updates to existing rules can be applied retrospectively, allowing historical Delegate activity to be reviewed and aligned with the latest event communication requirements.
By reevaluating rules, the system can identify Delegates who now meet the criteria for a communication and automatically generate the relevant Event Actions. It also provides the ability to resend communications where required, ensuring Delegates receive the most up-to-date event information.
This feature is especially valuable in dynamic event environments where details, rules, and communication requirements may change over time. It helps ensure that Delegate communications remain accurate, relevant, and consistent, while keeping historical data aligned with new event processes and updates.
While on an Event/Function, you now have the ability to Reevaluate Comms Rules.
Click “Reevaluate Comms Rules” to choose which Communication Rules you would like to reevaluate.
This feature allows you to reevaluate Communication Rules by reassessing historical Delegate data and generating new Event Actions. This can be used for both newly created and existing Communication Rules.
For example, if Delegates were already invited with the status Invite Approved before the Communication Rule “Invitation to an Event” was created, you can still apply the rule retroactively. Simply click Reevaluate Comms Rules, select the required Communication Rule, and click “Reevaluate.”
If Delegates registered after the Communication Rule was created and have already received the related communication, you can use the “Allow Resend” checkbox to resend the communication to those Delegates.
This is especially useful when event details have changed — such as the venue, date/time, or other event-specific information included in the Classic Email Template — and you need Delegates to receive the updated information.
After clicking "Reevlauate" you will receive a success message.
