Create/select custom Delegate/Guest fields you would like to clone when an Event/Function is cloned using the ‘Clone Event’, ‘Copy To Template’, ‘Copy Template’ or ‘Schedule Events’ buttons on an Event/Function or Event Template record.
Note: The fields can be custom created OR belong to a different managed package with a namespace.
Note: This step must be done by a Salesforce System Administrator
From Setup on the Object Tab
Search for Delegate/Guest
Click on Field Sets
Create a new field set on the Delegate/Guest object
Important: It must have the API name ‘Custom_Fields_To_Clone’ – you can choose any label.
Click ‘Save’
Click on the Label of your new Field Set
Add your Delegate/Guest custom fields to the new field set
Note: Do not add existing Eventspark fields to the new field set or you may get a duplicate error when cloning the event using the custom cloning buttons.
Click ‘Save’
